A walk in Coverack, Cornwall

As a change from the Black Country and West Midland walks which I usually publish, here's one from Coverack, on the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall.
We arrived to find we'd just missed the RNLI Regatta. (But the life boat was still there)

There was still some activity on the water

The tide was in and the sea was exceptionally clear.

Coverack is a lovely old Cornish village

The harbour was bustling

There was some huge chain. (Use my feet as a comparison) I wondered if it had been made in the Black Country

The Lifeboat House

We followed the coast path for a couple of miles.

On the way back, we decided to explore Chynhalls Point

There were great views, and it wasn't too much of a climb: a worthwhile detour, in fact.

Arriving back at Coverack, the storm clouds had rolled in (lots just recently!!!)
Today's Walk: Park at Coverack in the charity car park (you pay what you feel), and follow the well-signposted Couth West Coast Path. It's rocky in places.
