In summary, a daily walk of just 20 minutes a day reduces your risk of premature death by even more than cutting obesity.
Come on, you can walk 20 minutes a day! It's only 10 minutes out, 10 minutes back.
And this blog shows some lovely places to walk and to give you inspiration.
But if you want further encouragement, the Guardian article mentions waist size, so I've just measured mine. I've lost 2 inches off my waist since the summer, without dieting - or losing any weight! The walking must have just redistributed it.
Anyway, go for it! You know you can do it.
