Snowdrops and sunrise - Chance Wood, Stourton, Staffs

A quick walk through Chance Wood in the afternoon sunshine yesterday

As usual, there was no-one around 

I wish I knew more about mosses and lichens! 

Everywhere, peeping through the soil, snowdrops 

 They are beautiful little flowers. 

These were further advanced: maybe the shelter of the tree trunk helped?

Today - a fantastic sunrise across towards Clent

My horse has a great view from his stable!

The whole sky was lit up. 

I'm off to Stafford today: my county town, and I've never been. About to put that right!
