Kinver Edge in light rain!

A quick walk around Kinver Edge to try out my new boots and my new walking app - of which more tomorrow.

My usual 1.5 mile route. The best walk anywhere on on views:effort ratio.
Occasionally the sun flashed for a minute

View from Nanny's Rock (just off the path, and not signposted - you can email me if you want directions)

The distant view to the Sheepwalks has disappeared: it's raining more heavily there. But someone's got a bonfire going (smoke in the middle of the picture)

Reaching the trig point. A few people were walking their dogs in the rain

The topscope (newly refurbished) points out nearby landmarks  - and, helpfully, New York!
Well done the Rotary Club for upgrading it - the old one was in a terrible state

Towards Dudley - hidden under rain

As I drove home, the rain stopped (of course)
There was a touch of blue sky

Walk Details: Park at the Church Road/Comber Road junction and follow the well-signed route. Up to the Edge, detour to Nanny's Rock (50 metres away) along the Edge to the trig point and toposcope, and back down past the War Memorial.
Fantastic views. Everyone should do this route!
